Our Environment
Learn about the ways Snider Energy is working towards a cleaner environment!
Produced from renewable resources like vegetable oils and animal fats, bio-diesel reduces carbon emissions and particulate matter compared to traditional diesel, making it more eco-friendly.
Renewable diesel can burn even cleaner than bio diesel! Because renewable diesel is hydronated, renewable diesel doesn't contain any oxygen and when burning releases less carbon. Renewable diesel has such a similar chemical makeup as traditional diesel, it runs through engines at an identical standard as petroleum diesel. Chemically, renewable diesel looks like fossil diesel but made from renewable sources. It reduces greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 80% over its lifecycle.
We offer all octane level gasolines with a 10% ethanol content. Blending ethanol with gas reduces the greenhouse emissions up to 30% every mile!
Mobil offers several environmentally acceptable lubricants (EAL) that are readily biodegradable, including the Mobil EAL Envirosyn™ H Series and Mobil EAL Arctic™ series. Also, for low aquatic toxicity, users can select a zinc-free product like Mobil DTE 10 Excel™ Series oils.
These lubricants are designed to break down more easily in the environment, reducing long-term ecological damage caused by petroleum-based oils. They minimize water and soil contamination, especially in sensitive environments like waterways and forests.
These lubricants are engineered for superior performance and longevity, which reduces the need for frequent oil changes and minimizes waste. Since they operate efficiently over a broader range of temperatures and conditions, they improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions by lowering friction and engine wear
DEF is used in diesel engines to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, which contribute to smog and acid rain. DEF converts NOx into harmless nitrogen and water vapor through a process called selective catalytic reduction (SCR), significantly reducing the engine's environmental impact.
Similar to Bio-Diesel, Bio-Heating Fuel is produced from renewable resources like vegetable oils and animal fats, bio-heating fuel reduces carbon emissions and particulate matter compared to traditional diesel, making it more eco-friendly.
